I've been blessed in that I haven't had but one injury since I started running and that was from wearing the wrong shoes, an easy fix. Keep up the amazing work and I wish you many pain free runs!Alliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08707434221124126774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076179970011255850.post-30290841103498202672011-09-03T18:22:07.646-04:002011-09-03T18:22:07.646-04:00Today's run was my first experience with PF. ...Today's run was my first experience with PF. I remembered reading your post so I thought I would revisit it. I could not believe the pain in my right foot. I have been rolling it was a golf ball and have a water bottle in the freezer. I am so worried as my 1/2 marathon is one week away. I hope it will clear up in time. I can hardly walk around the house right now!Lisa Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00991970595012543323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076179970011255850.post-71376166893224569952011-08-31T01:44:54.122-04:002011-08-31T01:44:54.122-04:00OMG when i saw the photos of the pain in your face...OMG when i saw the photos of the pain in your face my whole body just clenched up - that just looks terrible!! So glad the stick seems to have done the trick that has got to be better than ripping up stress balls!sammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09232983595172523741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076179970011255850.post-54123139362021591052011-08-30T16:09:15.444-04:002011-08-30T16:09:15.444-04:00That scraping looks horrible!!! I have PF flare ups when I increase my mileage too much, but I massage my first first thing in the morning before I even get out of bed, and roll it on a frozen water bottle a few times every day to get it under control.Vanessa @ Gourmet Runnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06927786555693446088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076179970011255850.post-90813687379577408822011-08-30T13:16:21.088-04:002011-08-30T13:16:21.088-04:00Goodness that sounds terribly painful. I luckily *knock on wood* have not had PF - after seeing this post, I pray I never get it!~* Jenn *~https://www.blogger.com/profile/07541103665242464789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076179970011255850.post-20292592055407947402011-08-30T11:33:17.626-04:002011-08-30T11:33:17.626-04:00I have had PF. But I also say that changing out your shoes often and using the foam roller and stick all help me.

I am glad you are making progress.
