Best Times

I don't run to set new PR's -it is not a high priority for me.  I much prefer savoring the joy of finishing a race.  That said, keeping track of one's PR's has some value . . . so here are mine since I began racing in September 2009:  Note:  The interval I used to obtain that time are in parenthesis. 

5K road race: 
35:08* (7/9/11 Runners on Parade) - chip timing (3:1; 11:42 m/m) *ONLY 3.0 MILES

37:47 (7/31/11 Swiss Days 5K) - chip timing (3:1; 12:09 m/m)
5K trail race: 
41.33 (11/21/09 Fox Island) - chip timing (ran whole race)

5 mile road race: 
1:05.40 (10/17/10 Run For Riley) - chip timing (2 and 1:15)

5 mile trail race: 
1:18.55 (5.3 miles 11/16/10 W.O.O.F.) - chip timing (not sure, but probably 2 and 1:15)

10K road race: 
1:19.05 (4/22/12 Wallaby Waddle 10K) - not chip timed, but my watch matched the clock
10 mile road race:  
2:12.50 (9/3/11 Parlor City Trot) - chip timing (2:30 and 1:30)

Half Marathon: 
2:53:51 (9/24/11 Fort 4 Fitness Half Marathon) - chip timing (2:30 and 1:30)
